The Cravin'
Once upon a midnight dreary, while we pondered, weak and weary,
Faint from hunger, dry with thirst, cravings that we looked to quench once more—
While we nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of someone gently rapping, rapping at our chamber door.
“’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at our chamber door—
Must be this and nothing more.”
Of course, distinctly I recall, 'twas in 2013, in Fall;
As the -ember ('twas Sept-ember) wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly we wished the morrow'd bring some cool wind, stolen, borrow'd;
A sign of Fall, though be it narrow—a season that we most adore—
Thus was born the Pumpkin Beer + Pizza Party, which we so adore.
Ten years later, here we are.

October 21st, our hearts aflutter, 6:30 p.m. we'll fling open the shutters,
As jack-o'-lanterns gleam with light, upon our welcoming door;
Fill up on beer, spice-y and bold, and pizzas with toppings untold;
And join a frightfully fun crew, on this night of party galore;
A feast to warm both young and old, as you step through our spooky door—
To celebrate things "Fall", and nothing more.

So, be your journey near or far, by foot, by broom, or horse-drawn car,
Know that you're welcome as you are. With friends or fam? Sure, bring them all.
Bring your favorite beer or treat, though there'll be plenty here to drink and eat.
Let us know by text or raven, if you'll heed our Autumn's call,
And haunt us with your ghostly presence at this 11th annual ball—
The Pumpkin Beer and Pizza Party made for one and all!
